This Spring 2024 Highline Arena's roller hockey program will become Great American Hockey! Since 1992 roller hockey has been a staple here in Aberdeen, NJ. For the last 32 years, this complex has seen numerous ownership changes, rink upgrades, and national level events. Numerous professional players and thousands of amateur players have participated in what is now one of the country's top roller hockey programs. We are excited to recognize roller hockey as its own entity.

General Manager Chris Gosha had this to say about the formation of Great American Hockey (GAH), "I have been part of the hockey program since 1996 and have had the opportunity to help grow our program to where it is today. That growth is due to the great hockey community that has helped support us. Previous ownership had never included hockey as a main focus point either in name and sometimes program. When Wayne Gant came on board in 2019 it was the first time that any part of the rink was used in the namesake; Highline "Arena". Now putting hockey under the Great American brand, we are excited to see how we can bring the hockey program to another level as GREAT AMERICAN HOCKEY!"

Owner Wayne Gant followed up with, "Great American Volleyball was established in 2002. GAV quickly developed into one of the premier volleyball tours in the country and the largest on the eastern seaboard. When taking over ownership of the Sports Center in 2019, I soon saw and learned that Chris has not only operated a first class facility but has developed one of the best roller hockey programs in the country. It is only fitting that a program like this deserves its right to be part of the Great American family. We look forward to taking Great American Hockey to new heights!"

We have launched a new website dedicated to all hockey related things!  In the coming weeks we will have new features such as a new registration system and updated schedule and statistics pages. Additionally, we will carry over the history of past leagues and players. In the meantime, be sure to check out our new league jerseys as a preview of things to come!
